Chief Digital Officer, Ahold Delhaize

Farhan Siddiqi is the Chief Digital Officer and a member of the Executive Committee for Ahold Delhaize. He is responsible for driving digital transformation and innovation across the company’s local brands, focusing on eCommerce, loyalty, data analytics and personalization.

Before joining Ahold Delhaize, Farhan was the Global Chief Digital Officer at McDonald’s, where he led the chain’s digital transformation, including the launch of mobile commerce in 20,000 restaurants, a new mobile app in over 50 countries and the upgrade of self-service ordering kiosks. He was also responsible for data analytics, building capabilities in data engineering, data science and data visualization. In 2018, his team drove about $3 billion in sales through the mobile app and about $7 billion digitally.

Farhan previously held several key leadership positions within Bank of America, Target and General Electric, where he focused on implementing successful customer loyalty programs, digital payment solutions and strategic partnerships. He has significant experience in profit and loss management, devising strategies, business development and designing products for eCommerce, financial services, digital payments, high-tech and consumer industries.

Farhan serves on the Board of Directors of Alliant Credit Union and is an advisor to Greylock partners CXO council.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
